Arch Manning sharp in second round playoff victory
On3 Consensus No. 1 and Texas commitment Arch Manning dazzled in Isidore Newman’s second round playoff game Friday night.

The 6-foot-3.5, 215-pounder completed 8 of 10 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns in the Greenies 57-19 win over Sophie B. Wright (7-5).
Manning put the Greenies ahead in the first quarter with an intermediate rip over the middle for a 54-yard catch and run score.
Following a five-yard touchdown run after another downfield strike, Manning connected on his second touchdown pass of the night.

Manning has now connected on 131 of 208 passes for 2,230 yards and 34 touchdowns without an interception through ten games. He has passed for 8,499 career yards with 115 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in 41 games.
Isidore Newman (8-2) advances to the Division III quarterfinals to take on a talented University Lab (8-3) team on Friday, November 25. University Lab has more than a half dozen future FBS players, including Notre Dame linebacker commitment Jaiden Ausberry and 2025 Keylan Moses, the younger brother of Dylan Moses.
