Texas Football announced Friday that Bevo XV will travel to Arlington to be on the sidelines for the Longhorns’ College Football Playoff matchup with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Bevo XV did not travel to either of Texas’ two recent contests in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with the stadium citing space concerns. AT&T Stadium has experience hosting the large bull, as Bevo XV was in one of the end zone tunnels during Texas’ most recent game in the home of the Cowboys at the 2023 Big 12 Championship.

Bevo XV made his debut during the 2016 season ahead of Texas’ double-overtime win versus Notre Dame. During his career, he has a record of 75-41 along with five bowl wins and a first-round victory in the 12-team College Football Playoff. He’s been the Longhorns’ mascot for head coaches Charlie Strong, Tom Herman, and now Steve Sarkisian.

Texas and Ohio State are set to battle in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl on Friday, January 10 with the winner advancing to the CFP National Championship in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on January 20.
