Big Human T'Vondre Sweat reportedly weighs in at 366 pounds at the NFL Combine
At the Reese’s Senior Bowl, Texas defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat went through every measurement and drill save for stepping on the scale to record his weight. When Inside Texas’ Charlie Williams went to Dallas to see Sweat and several other NFL Combine-bound Longhorns work out, Sweat once again remained mum about how much he weighed.

The NFL Combine is meant to unearth every possible detail about a prospect, including Sweat’s weight. The 2023 Outland Trophy winner weighed in at 366 pounds in Indianapolis on Thursday according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Sweat is the second heaviest defensive player to attend the combine in the last 25 years, with only Georgia Tech’s T.J. Barnes weighing more at 369 pounds.
The Huntsville (Texas) native was listed by Texas at 6-foot-4, 362 pounds for the 2023 season. The unanimous All-American and Big 12 defensive player of the year was a consistent force for Texas, leading the nation’s third best run defense. The Longhorns allowed just 82.4 yards per game on the ground thanks to the work of Sweat and fellow tackle Byron Murphy.
Sweat posted a 91.7 overall grade in the 2023 season according to Pro Football Focus, the best in the nation and just 0.6 percentage points ahead of teammate Murphy. He even got involved on the offensive side of the ball, often playing tight end for the Longhorns in their goal line set and catching a touchdown pass in the 2023 Big 12 Championship.

Since he was a part of the Longhorns’ 2019 class, Sweat has seen a steady climb in his weight. When he signed with Tom Herman’s program in December of 2018, Sweat was listed at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds. His freshman season in 2019, he was listed at 320 pounds.
As a sophomore in 2020, Sweat checked in at 348 pounds. He slimmed down some in 2021 as a third-year player, playing at 335 pounds. His first senior season saw him measure in at 346 pounds.
Then in 2023 for his fifth and final season at Texas, Sweat was a behemothic 362 pounds.
Sweat is one of 11 Longhorns at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. He’ll participate along with Murphy and fellow former teammate Jaylan Ford with the linebackers and defensive tackles
