Coach V: The defense leads the Longhorns to victory over BYU

There should be little doubt that the defense held up their part of the bargain. Our defense hammered the Cougars with relentless pursuit and cost effective hustle. Four full quarters of GATA was perfect evidence as basically the entire defensive roster flooded the field with talented effort. We played well on defense with maybe three ugly plays in an otherwise stout performance. Throw in a touchdown punt return and tremendous punting with coverage and you have a superior defensive game. If only we could say the same about the offense.
