Coach V: The Texas Longhorns were in the game on Saturday

Some have said this was a statement game for the program. There are others that are holding to the "we are back" headline. Obviously, there are also the large (and growing larger) group that falsely believes this bunch is living on borrowed time and will revert back to disappointing failure once the water gets hot. I'm going to go with an educated guess. When you surround talent with stout work ethic and positive attitude there is a general consensus that you will win more battles than you lose. I'm believing we now have a huge portion of strong willed footballers that are programed to not accept anything less than best effort all day every day. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
