David Ash calls it quits

Texas QB David Ash has decided to retire, coach Charlie Strong announced this afternoon. It brings an end to an up-and-down career at UT. After suffering multiple head injuries, Ash felt the time was right, Strong said.
Senior DT Desmond “Tank” Jackson will also miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury suffered vs UCLA.
