The evaluation: Strengths — Good height for interior line. Could fit at 3-tech or nose. Good ankle, hip and knee bend. Can stay low off the snap and usually displays good leverage. Active hands with some swim/rip moves. Feet are quick and generally stay active. Good straight line speed and change of direction for his size. Delivers a decent stun to the blocker and upper body strength is impressive. Plays head up and is looking to diagnose the play early. Against the run, he flattens out to keep his gap. Shows good play strength at the point of attack. Usually anchors with really good leverage. High motor. Closes the last few yards quickly. In pass situations, will put together legitimate combinations to out leverage the blocker. Productive tackler for an interior lineman.
