The ranking: Johnson-Rubell is ranked as the No. 187 overall prospect, the No. 14 safety, and the No. 32 prospect from Florida in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. On3 ranks Johnson-Rubell as the No. 51 safety and the No. 70 prospect in Florida.

Johnson-Rubell broke down each of his contenders with Chad Simmons.
TCU: “They see me being a hometown kid very highly and a lot of guys from Fort Worth don’t go to TCU. Me being a hometown hero type of guy is a big thing.”
Texas: “I could definitely see myself in their scheme. They run the same scheme we do at IMG. Them talking about the SEC more was different. At first it was just a thing but now it’s actually happening. Them talking about the SEC, how they’ll do certain things and who they’ll play is new to me and I liked hearing it.”

Michigan: “Coach Jim Harbaugh is one of the smartest coaches in the country. My position coach at IMG used to coach at Michigan so we watch Michigan film and that’s a great connection keeping them near the top.”
