The 6-foot-7 high-flyer with a very high ceiling made an unofficial visit to Texas last week, and committed to Rodney Terry and staff in the days that followed.
The Houston area prospect initially committed to LSU May 9 over offers from Texas A&M, Penn State, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech.
Pryor, whose father is from Shreveport and has a lot of family in Louisiana, de-committed from the Tigers June 17.
The Longhorns offered Pryor June 28 in what figured to be a 2024 offer to one of the fastest rising small forwards in the country.

Pryor as a prospect
Having seen Pryor in person, he’s a very high-ceiling prospect that was among the most athletic wing prospects in the country in the 2024 cycle. He can finish well above the rim, and has a developing game off the bounce. His high-end length with his quickness, agility, high-flying vertical ability and wingspan provide the opportunity to be a difference maker defender at the high-major level.
