They will join Longhorns defensive tackle Keondre Coburn in the event. Coburn’s invitation was announced last week.

Ojomo, a fifth-year senior from Katy (Texas), just completed his most productive season on the 40 Acres. He played in 11 of the team’s 12 games and amassed 30 tackles, 15 of them solo and 5.5 for a loss. Ojomo had three sacks on the year, one more than his other four years combined.

For his 49-game career at Texas, Ojomo has 93 total tackles, 49 of them solo and 13.5 that have resulted in a loss.

Ojomo was named preseason second-team All-Big 12 by Phil Steele in 2022 and a 2022 fourth-team All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Athlon Sports.

He’s a member of UT’s 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a seven-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2019, fall 2019, spring 2020, fall 2020, spring 2021, fall 2021 and spring 2022).

Jamison, a senior from Houston (Texas) Lamar, has had a splendid career at Texas, excelling on offense, on defense and on special teams. This season, he played in 11 games and had 22 tackles, 19 of them solo and 2.0 for a loss. Jamison also has a sack, two interceptions, nine passes defended and a blocked punt.

In his five years as a Longhorn, Jamison racked up 136 tackles, 107 of them solo, and 6.0 of them for a loss. He’s picked off six passes, defended 23 more, forced a fumble, and recovered two fumbles.

As a returner, Jamison was dazzling on both kickoffs and punts. He had scores on 98- and 100-yard kickoff returns in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and has averaged 26.6 yards per return. On punt returns Jamison set the table high with a 90-yarder for a TD in 2018 but has been more than capable in the four years since, averaging 8.4 yards per opportunity over his five seasons.

Jamison was named preseason second-team All-Big 12 by Phil Steele in 2022 at defensive back and punt returner and was a 2022 first-team specialist and second-team defense All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Athlon Sports. He was a three-time member of the Paul Hornung Award preseason watch list (2020-22) and was chosen to the 2021 All-Big 12 Preseason Team.

Other kudos garnered by Jamison include a 2021 second-team All-Big 12 Preseason Team selection on defense and special teams by Athlon Sports and a third-team All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Phil Steele in 2021. He was also named to the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl watch list and earned honorable mention as a returner and as the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year in 2020. Jamison was chosen to the All-Big 12 Preseason Team and was a first-team All-Big 12 Preseason selection by Phil Steele in 2020.

Ojomo, Jamison and Coburn join a long line of great players to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Tom Brady, Walter Payton, Lawrence Taylor, John Elway, Gale Sayers, and Jimmy Garoppolo are among the standout athletes who have played in the East-West Shrine Bowl. Don Shula, Dick Vermeil, Paul “Bear” Bryant and Jerry Glanville, to name a few, have been coaches in the annual event, which has been held for more than 90 years.

The game will be held as part of the NFL’s Pro Bowl Week events in Sin City.
