Texas cornerback D’Shawn Jamison is not available for the No. 18 Longhorns’ primetime contest with the No. 4 TCU Horned Frogs. Jamison, a fifth-year senior who has started every game this year, was not seen in pregame warmups on Saturday.
In 2022, Jamison has recorded 21 tackles with 2.0 for loss and one sack. He also has two interceptions and seven pass breakups, plus a blocked kick. For his career, Jamison has 135 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, and six interceptions.
Texas will look to Jamier Johnson, Terrance Brooks, and Austin Jordan to replace Jamison at the field corner position.
That trio, along with typical starting boundary corner Ryan Watts, will be tasked with defending a Horned Frog wide receiver corps considered to be one of the best in the Big 12, if not the entire country.
