Dia Bell – QB | 2026 | Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage | Texas Commit

6’3”, 190 lbs | 5-star | On3 Rating: 96.52

#5 QB nationally | #1 player in Florida | #13 overall nationally

The lone Texas commit expected to compete. Bell brings polish, poise, and a high football IQ to the field. His continued development will be a major storyline as the class of 2026 takes shape.

Kavian Bryant – QB | 2027 | Palestine (Texas) Westwood

6’1”, 180 lbs | 4-star | On3 Rating: 91.28

#4 QB nationally | #6 player in Texas | #28 overall nationally

Widely regarded as the top quarterback in the 2027 class. Bryant already holds a Texas basketball offer, and he’s gaining traction as a top football prospect as well. Offers include Texas A&M, SMU, Oklahoma State, and Arkansas.

Peyton Houston – QB | 2027 | Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian

5’11”, 200 lbs | Unranked (On3)

A smooth passer with high-level traits. Houston earned a Texas offer early and remains a top out-of-state quarterback target in the ‘27 cycle. Other offers include Oklahoma, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Georgia.

Jalen Brewster – DL | 2027 | Cedar Hill (Texas)

6’4”, 277 lbs | Unranked (On3)

Texas offered Brewster just a few months ago, and since then, he’s been on a steady rise nationally. He now holds offers from Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas Tech, SMU, Arizona State, Penn State, Georgia, Texas A&M, and others. His blend of power, athleticism, and upside makes him one of the most intriguing defensive line prospects in the country.

Michael Brown – WR | 2026 | Houston (Texas) Legacy School of Sports and Sciences

6’1”, 165 lbs | 4-star | On3 Rating: 89.55

#46 WR nationally | #35 player in Texas | #283 nationally

Earned his Texas offer after a strong showing at camp last year. Brown is one of the best crafty route runners in his class, with exceptional body control and separation skills. Offers include Oklahoma, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, Penn State, Alabama, and more.

Taelyn Mayo – DB | 2027 | Lewisville (Texas)

6’3”, 175 lbs | Unranked (On3)

Mayo fits the mold of what Texas looks for in its secondary: tall, rangy corners with elite cover ability and the versatility to line up anywhere on the back end. He earned his Texas offer last spring. Other offers include Texas A&M, Oregon, USC, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, and Miami.

Zachary Turner – WR/TE | 2026 | Duncanville (Texas)

6’2”, 210 lbs | 3-star | On3 Rating: 87.95

The hybrid pass-catcher out of powerhouse Duncanville earned a Texas offer a year ago. While he might not currently sit at the top of the Longhorns’ board, Turner remains a highly intriguing prospect with size and athleticism that could be valuable in multiple offensive roles. Offers include Miami, Oklahoma, Florida State, SMU, LSU, Oregon, Penn State, Georgia, Michigan, and more.
