The Highlights

The Recruitment: Christian was impressed by what he saw during multiple visits to Texas in April. He committed on May 13, choosing Texas over Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

The Projection: Christian plays left tackle in high school but projects as a guard in college. At 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, he’s a mauler in the run game with the quickness to execute various blocking schemes. His ability to pull and pick off linebackers adds value to his skill set.

The Reasoning: Christian saw firsthand the development opportunities under Kyle Flood, which convinced him Texas was the best place for him.

The Final Word: Christian brings a nastiness and high football IQ to the Texas offensive line. His versatility and strength make him a cornerstone piece for the Longhorns’ future.
