The Highlights:
The Recruitment: Texas targeted two tailbacks for the 2025 class. When Tashard Choice visited Chapel Hill, he immediately saw Stewart’s potential and extended an offer. Stewart attended UT’s Junior Day on January 20th, received his dream offer, and quickly committed to the Longhorns.
The Projection: Stewart is an ultra-quick running back who has excelled behind a strong offensive line at Chapel Hill. His quickness allows him to win the edge and his patience enables him to let blockers set up plays. At Texas, he’s projected to thrive in outside running schemes and short passing game roles, similar to Keilan Robinson, Jaydon Blue, or Tre Wisner. His development will determine if he becomes more than an explosive situational weapon.

The Reasoning: Stewart always dreamed of playing for Texas, and once he received the offer, his decision was made.
