The Highlights:

The Recruitment: The one-time Iowa commit reopened his recruitment after moving back to Georgia. With multiple schools vying for him, Brooks ultimately chose Texas after an official visit in June.

The Projection: Brooks is an enormous lineman at 6-foot-7, 360 pounds with surprising athleticism. He’s an excellent run blocker and moves well on zone and counter concepts. While he profiles as a right tackle, his athleticism gives him the potential to play left tackle with development.

The Reasoning: Brooks saw everything he needed during his visit to Austin, impressed by Texas’ development and coaching staff.

The Final Word: Brooks is a physical mauler with tremendous athleticism for his size. His versatility and violent playing style make him a future star on the Longhorn offensive line.
