How does the IT Poll compare to other major college football rankings?
Just over a month ago, Inside Texas debuted the IT Poll ahead of SEC Media days. The IT Poll seeks to rank the top 10 teams in the SEC on a regular basis.

So far, there’s been no real reason to change IT’s top 10 in the SEC since July 10. However, now that several major polls are out, it’s a good chance to see how the IT Poll compares to other major college football rankings.
In some cases, there aren’t 10 teams in the top 25, or top 30, or top whatever. But we’ll go as far as the other polls take us in this exercise.
