Six men who played at the University of Texas were on NFL rosters of teams that battled on divisional round weekend from Jan. 21-22. Half of those players will continue on the postseason as members of teams that earned berths in Sunday’s conference Championships.

Half of the teams, Cincinnati in the AFC and San Francisco in the NFC, have former Longhorns’ players on their respective rosters. The other two, Kansas City in the AFC and Philadelphia in the NFC, have no one on their squads that spend time on the 40 Acres.

Here’s a recap of the performances from the former Texas players from last week:

Cincinnati

Joseph Ossai, EDGE

Ossai had one solo tackle and one quarterback hurry in the Bengals’ 27-10 win in snowy Buffalo on Sunday. Cincinnati will play at Kansas City in the AFC Championship on Sunday evening.

Dallas

Malik Jefferson, LB

Jefferson was on the Cowboys’ practice squad all season and did not see any action over the regular campaign or in the postseason, which concluded in Dallas 19-12 loss at San Francisco on Sunday.
