The Texas Longhorns’ 2025 and 2026 commits and targets indeed had an incredible start to the season, showcasing their talent across the board:

  • 2025 5-star commit Jonah Williams set the tone with a remarkable performance, contributing to a 54-26 victory over Manvel. He scored 2 receiving touchdowns, 2 rushing touchdowns, 1 kickoff return touchdown, blocked a PAT, made 6 tackles, and had 2 pass breakups. His all-around play highlights his versatility and game-changing ability.
  • 2025 4-star commit Elijah Barnes had a standout defensive performance in Skyline Raiders’ 21-7 win over North Forney, racking up 13 tackles, 3 sacks, 4 QB hurries, and 5 tackles for loss. His speed, play recognition, and versatility were on full display, showing why he could be a key contributor for the Longhorns. Of course, he also visited Oregon this past weekend.
  • 2026 QB commit Dia Bell was impressive, completing 16 of 22 passes for 333 yards and 5 touchdowns in just three quarters.
  • 2025 5-Star WR Kaliq Lockett had a great game despite Sachse’s hard-fought loss to Coppell, finishing with 8 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown.
  • 2025 Commit Lance Jackson contributed significantly to PG’s 33-3 win over Atlanta, with 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and 5 quarterback pressures.
  • 2025 QB Commit KJ Lacey had a stellar performance, throwing for 207 yards and 5 touchdowns before being pulled at halftime with the score at 56-0.
  • 2025 RB Commit Rickey Stewart had a strong night on the ground, rushing for over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Chapel Hill Bulldogs defeated Jasper.
  • 2025 OL commits Jordan Coleman and Devin Coleman led the Cedar Hill (TX) offensive line in their 40-7 victory over Midlothian, paving the way for a dominant ground game.
  • 2025 OL Jackson Christian played a key role in the Porter Neches-Grove Indians’ big win over Klein Oak, where they rushed for over 200 yards in a 39-17 victory.
