How to watch Texas at the Las Vegas College Baseball Classic this weekend

The Longhorns are hitting the field, and hopefully not the casinos, tonight as Texas kicks off its first game of the Las Vegas College Baseball Classic in a matchup against the Washington Huskies.

The Huskies have been a thorn in the University of Texas’ side for a few years now, both on the gridiron and on the diamond. Last season, Washington gave Texas its first non-tournament series loss of the year, when Husky pitchers blanketed the Longhorn offense in Austin in mid march.
This year, Texas is looking to enact revenge on the West, playing a theoretically worse version of Washington baseball. The Huskies are just 3-6 on the year, having already lost four games to Stanford and adding losses to Coastal Carolina and Saint Joseph’s.
Texas has already announced that Jared Spencer will be on the bump for the third straight Friday, with Washington hoping to force his second earned run of the year. The smooth lefty has given up just one earned in 10 innings pitched. The Huskies will likely be running out 6-foot-4 senior right-hander Max Banks, arguably the team’s best arm who went past six innings in both of his starts, collecting just a 1.50 ERA in the process.
