2024 Houston (Texas) Clear Lake ATH Hunter Moddon is no longer considered a Texas Longhorns football commit, Inside Texas has learned.

Moddon, who committed to the Longhorns on September 2, 2022, chose Texas over LSU, TCU, Ole Miss, Georgia, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Arizona State, and Washington State.

Moddon ranks as the No. 107 overall prospect, the No. 15 cornerback, and the No. 21 prospect in Texas in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. The On3 Industry Ranking is the industry’s most advanced, complete and unbiased measurement.

On3 ranks Moddon as the No. 121 overall prospect, the No. 16 cornerback, and the No. 26 prospect in the state Texas. All four services rate Moddon as a four-star and list him among their top 200 prospects.
