Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond headed to the locker room before halftime of Saturday’s Red River Shootout game against No. 18 Oklahoma with an apparent injury at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday from Dallas.

He tweaked his ankle and reaggravated it, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian announced after the game. They’ll continue to monitor him.

Bond had five yards on his only catch at the time of his injury. He entered the RRS as the Longhorns’ leading receiver with 364 yards and three touchdowns. He also has two carries for 51 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Texas led, 21-3, at halftime from the Cotton Bowl. The Horns went on to defeat the Sooners, 34-3.
