The Texas Longhorns are making key position changes as several players switch roles ahead of the 2025 season. Plus, Duane Akina returns with a familiar face awaiting him at Texas, while Jerrick Gibson and Andre Cojoe continue their development on the field.

Joe and Eric discuss several major position switches made by Jelani McDonald, Jaylon Guilbeau, Trey Moore, and Ryan Niblett. The two discuss the newfound roles for each player and who might take over at their previous positions.

They then go into Jerrick Gibson, who is being talked about a lot behind the scenes. Gibson could step into the RB1 role, but some of it depends on what CJ Baxter is capable of come the fall.

Andre Cojoe is another player whose development is highlighted. Arriving at Texas as a 16 year old, Cojoe is developing nicely and battling with Brandon Baker at right tackle.

The two conclude with a discussion about Duane Akina, who arrived at Texas and saw a very familiar face from his days at Stanford in Malik Antoine.
