The Texas Longhorns begin their SEC season with their home opener, with expectations high to dominate the SEC.

Mississippi State’s defense is not performing well, with major issues in its defensive line and tackling. They’ve allowed teams like Toledo and Florida to exploit them easily.

Texas can easily exploit Mississippi State’s undersized and underperforming defense. The defensive line lacks disruption and chaos, and Texas will likely dominate the run game.

Mississippi State averages only three tackles for loss per game, showing a lack of pressure and defensive disruption. Texas’ offense is expected to have plenty of time to make plays.

Texas might conserve some of its advanced defensive strategies for future games, potentially holding back certain plays for upcoming tougher opponents like Oklahoma.
