ITYT: How Anthony Hill and Trey Moore will change the Texas defense

Boyd and Wadlington go over how Texas might alter some of its approach from the defensive tackle approach it took last year with T’Vondre Sweat and Byron Murphy to maybe one that unleashes Anthony Hill and Trey Moore. Texas’ EDGEs are far different than they were last year with the influx of Moore on the roster, and Boyd believes his presence will change how the Longhorns play defense. Wadlington explains how Hill developed throughout the season both in physical play and mental processing into a feared Mike LB.

How does Texas structure the defense around them? With Moore on the boundary and Hill at Mike LB, Boyd says they can help Texas modify how it deploys some of the fronts around them. Both can do multiple things and not just be stuck in those spots. Boyd explains in detail with diagrams.
