On the latest episode of Inside the Program, Joe Cook and Eric Nahlin discuss the latest intel from offseason workouts for the Texas Longhorns and analyze Arch Manning’s recent interview with ESPN.

The two begin by explaining the format and schedule for offseason workouts for the Texas Longhorns, with a daily breakdown of targeted areas. The groups are Linemen, WR/DB, and Everyone Else. Some of the players that have already started to show progress include a considerable number of freshmen like Caleb Chester, Justus Terry, and Elijah Barnes.

A number of freshmen have taken a liking to several experienced members of the Longhorn leadership corps. Nick Brooks is attached to Trevor Goosby, similar applies to Daylan McCutcheon and DeAndre Moore. Zelus Hicks and Michael Taaffe are grouped together as well.

CJ Baxter has made progress in the weight room since his preseason injury, along with Jerrick Gibson. At tight end, Spencer Shannon and Jordan Washington have done well to step into the void at tight end at least in the offseason.

The two conclude doting on Arch Manning, who provided tremendous insight into his psyche as a football player and a Longhorn during a sit down interview with ESPN.
