On the latest edition of Inside the Program on the Inside Texas Football YouTube channel, Joe Cook and Eric Nahlin discuss the job opening on Steve Sarkisian’s staff at the safeties coach position, the fastest Longhorns, Justus Terry, and Texas Exes in the Super Bowl.

Blake Gideon is off to Georgia Tech to be the defensive coordinator, creating a key opening on Sarkisian’s staff. The role is an attractive one to any coach that might be interested as players like Michael Taaffe, Jonah Williams, Derek Williams, Xavier Filsaime, Jordon Johnon-Rubell, and Jelani McDonald are on the roster. One possible name for the position is Florida’s Will Harris, who has great recruiting and developmental chops.

The next discussion centers around Longhorns who have showed a propensity for speed in offseason workouts. Ryan Niblett leads the way, but other receivers like DeAndre Moore, Jaime Ffrench, Kaliq Lockett, and Parker Livingstone have turned on the jets. Ffrench was one of the fastest in recent weeks.

Five-star DT Justus Terry is the next topic of conversation, and he’s approaching 300 pounds. The two discuss his possible role during his first year on the 40 Acres.

The two conclude their discussion by looking at the three Longhorns in the Super Bowl. Xavier Worthy and Charles Omenihu are on the Kansas City Chiefs while Moro Ojomo is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
