The guys begin with defensive line recruiting for 2025 and the latest from top targets. Port Charlotte (Fla.) four-star DL, Florida State commit Myron Charles is a flip candidate.
Greene County (Ga.) DL, FSU pledge Kevin Wynn is still talking to the Horns, and Hitchcock (Texas) DL, Nebraska pledge Malcolm Simpson is a new name on the radar. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound four-star is former a teammate of Texas five-star commit Jonah Williams at Galveston Ball.
Is there a five-star about to announce soon? There’s rumblings that San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights star, No. 1 athlete Michael Terry III could be close. Oregon and Nebraska are making strong pushes and it’ll be interesting how it plays out. But we like the Horns’ hopes right now.

The big announcement this week: Five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is set to announce his decision on Friday, at 7:25 a.m. from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He’s down to Texas, LSU, and Miami. The former Alabama commit has grown really close to the recruits in UT’s 2025 class included KJ Lacey and Kaliq Lockett.
