On the latest edition of the Saturday Roundtable on the Inside Texas YouTube Channel, LC and Paul Wadlington go over the Longhorns’ four non-conference opponents — Colorado State, Michigan, UTSA, and Louisiana-Monroe — and what to look for when observing those Texas games.

Colorado State runs a modified Air Raid offense under former Texas assistant Jay Norvell. There are other notable players to track at quarterback and wide receiver who do a great job of of getting the ball out quickly.

Michigan is the headliner on the Texas non-conference schedule. The Wolverines went 15-0 last year but that was last year. A blowout isn’t likely either way as Michigan continues to have an elite defense, however their offense is a work in progress. Quinn Ewers will have to do yeoman’s work in this game, especially against the blitz.

Texas returns home to battle UTSA. Frank Harris is finally gone but there are other players to note in Jeff Traylor’s program.

The non-conference slate ends with Louisiana-Monroe, who might be team 134 of the 134 FBS programs.
