In the video below, former high school coach and college support staffer Charlie Williams and Joe Cook discuss those Texas targets on the offensive side of the ball.

WR Jamie Ffrench, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin: One thing about Jamie’s game that stood about the On3 Industry Ranking five-star was his ball skills after the catch. He can make people miss in space. Ffrench recently told On3 that Texas is in his top-two along with Ohio State.

WR Marcus Harris, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei: Harris was the first known player to schedule a Texas official visit. His ability to catch the ball away from his body with his strong hands stood out. Huge catch radius. In other viewings, his ability after the catch has stood out.

Texas is in excellent position with Harris.

TE Kiotti Armstrong, Jasper (Texas): Armstrong’s size always stands out, but another aspect this weekend was his ability to understand leverage when running routes. Savvy route runners can find a lot of open space at the position.

There’s plenty of recruiting left to do with Armstrong but Texas is currently in a good spot.

TE Emaree Winston, Calhoun (Ga.): The Texas commit is stylistically reminds of Antonio Gates. He has great body control and soft hands.
