On a special breaking news episode on the Inside Texas Football YouTube channel, Joe Cook and Eric Nahlin analyze the Monday night commitment of 2025 Port Neches (Texas) Port Neches-Groves offensive lineman Jackson Christian. Christian chose Texas over Texas A&M and Texas Tech ahead of his planned summer official visits.

Christian, a promising offensive lineman from the 2025 class, has committed to the University of Texas. His decision comes as a little bit of a surprise given the early timing of his commitment but it also indicates the precious nature of spots in Texas’ 2025 class.

Standing with NFL-worthy dimensions, particularly in arm length, Christian’s skills suggest he could play as a guard or a tackle in college.

Christian’s commitment is notable as he comes from a championship-winning program at Port Neches-Groves, which adds prestige to Texas’ recruitment efforts. His versatility is a strategic gain for the Longhorns.
