Bishop joins Hayward Howard Jr., a four-star cornerback from Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, as Texas CB coach Mark Orphey continues to get comfortable in the Longhorns recruiting room.
The 6-foot-0, 170-pound four-star ATH committed to the Longhorns over Texas A&M, USC, and Florida. He’d been trending Texas ever since his Junior Day visit in late January. It was also a team recruiting effort with Orphey and WR coach Chris Jackson holding it down.
Bishop notched six carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. He also had 83 receptions for 1565 yards and 18 touchdowns. In his career, he has 2981 all-purpose yards with 35 receiving touchdowns and 9 rushing touchdowns for Willis in 2024.
On the defensive side, he logged 26 tackles and three interceptions plus a fumble recovery and two forced fumbles. He’ll likely play corner for Texas at the next level.
