Osborne delivered an impressive junior season, rushing for 1,085 yards on 156 carries in just nine games while finding the end zone 21 times. His combination of vision, speed, and power has drawn attention from top programs across the country.
While Texas and Michigan have emerged as clear leaders in his recruitment, Osborne remains committed to taking all of his official visits. He is intent on evaluating how he fits into each program’s offensive scheme, the relationships he can build with the coaching staffs, and the developmental opportunities each school offers.
A key factor in Texas’ position as a frontrunner is Osborne’s longstanding relationship with running backs coach Tashard Choice. Osborne credits Choice for being one of the first to recognize his talent during his freshman year, a gesture that has resonated deeply with the Forney standout.

On the other hand, Michigan has been relentless in its pursuit, presenting Osborne with the opportunity to be a centerpiece in their offense. Members of the Wolverines’ staff even made a trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth area recently to visit him.
Although Texas and Michigan currently sit at the top of Osborne’s list, he remains open to other programs that could make a late push during his recruitment. He plans to announce his college decision before the start of his senior year, allowing him to focus entirely on his final high school season and team goals.
