Jaydon Blue, Jelani McDonald, Aaron Bryant ruled out for Texas vs. UTSA
The No. 2 Texas Longhorns will be without a few players, including their star running back. Texas running back Jaydon Blue (ankle), defensive back Jelani McDonald (ankle), and defensive tackle Aaron Bryant (knee) were ruled out by the program just over an hour before kickoff.

Defensive back Xavier Filsaime is also not dressed to play, though Texas has not commented on his status.
Blue hurt his foot against the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor. He left the victory over the Wolverines for a short amount of time but returned and was able to score a touchdown in Michigan Stadium. This season, Blue has 20 carries for 79 yards. He also has nine catches for 74 yards and a touchdown.
After the game in Michigan, Blue said all was okay.
“I just got rolled up a little bit,” Blue told Inside Texas after the game. “I’ll be alright.”
For his career, Blue has carried the ball 100 times for 510 yards and three touchdowns. He’s also caught 23 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns.

McDonald, who played Star in the Longhorns’ defense against the Wolverines, did not have his ailment disclosed. The sophomore has four tackles this season, twice his total from last year.
Bryant, a third-year defensive tackle, made an appearance versus Colorado State.
