Kickoff time announced for 119th meeting between Texas and Oklahoma
The 2023 edition of the Red River Shootout featuring No. 3 Texas and No. 14 Oklahoma will kick off at 11 a.m. and be aired by ABC.

Texas won the 2022 meeting in a historic 49-0 drubbing of the Sooners. Texas had 585 total yards to the Sooners’ 195 with backup quarterback Davis Beville playing in place of Dillon Gabriel.
Quinn Ewers was 21-for-31 for 289 yards with four touchdowns and an interception. Bijan Robinson rushed 22 times for 130 yards and two scores, while Jonathon Brooks, Keilan Robinson, and Xavier Worthy all added touchdowns. Ja’Tavion Sanders caught two touchdown passes from Ewers.
Other Big 12 games also received kickoff times and television partners.
On Friday Oct. 6, the Kansas State Wildcats head to Stillwater, Okla. to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Boone Pickens Stadium. ESPN will air the game which will kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

Then on Saturday Oct. 7, TCU heads to Ames, Iowa to battle the Iowa State Cyclones. That game will be on FS2 and start at 7 p.m.
In a game that will impact travel on Interstate 35 in Central Texas, the Texas Tech Red Raiders enter McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas to face the Baylor Bears. That game takes place at 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN 2.
Finally, Central Florida heads to Lawrence, Kan. to face the Kansas Jayhawks at David Booth Memorial Stadium. FOX will air the contest starting at 3 p.m.
