Kickoff times announced for contests vs. Rice, Wyoming, Texas Tech
Kickoff times and television partners for three more games on Texas’ 2023 schedule were announced on Wednesday.

The 2023 season opener between the Longhorns and the Rice Owls on Saturday, Sept. 2 will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. Central and air on Fox. Texas leads the all-time series with the Owls 74-21-1, and holds a 44-8 record versus Rice in Austin.
The Longhorns will host the Wyoming Cowboys in Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Longhorn Network will air the game. Texas is 5-0 versus Wyoming with the last meeting taking place in 2012.
The regular season finale, a matchup in Austin between Texas and the Texas Tech Red Raiders, will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Central on Friday, Nov. 24. ABC will air the matchup between the two in-state schools. Texas is 54-18 versus TTU, and 32-7 versus the Red Raiders in Austin.

A television partner and kickoff time was previously announced for Texas’ trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to play the Alabama Crimson Tide. That Sept. 9 game will kickoff at 6 p.m. Central and air on ESPN. The Red River Showdown also had its television partner previously announced, as ABC will air that contest. No scheduled kickoff time has yet been announced.
