Klein Forest’s Parker Jenkins is a name for Texas fans to know

There are two types of recruiting fans. One type is comprised of junior General Managers who love evaluation, roster management, and who understand recruiting is the lifeblood of a program. The other camp simply loves the drama and views recruiting a sport unto itself. These people hold a recruiting win over A&M in higher regard than an on-field victory over Kansas State. That victory over K-State is merely an excuse to juice recruits for their latest thoughts on Texas. Admittedly, there’s some overlap between the two types, but it’s a spectrum and you’re either largely one or the other. If you’re in the first camp, this time of year is exciting to you. At this early juncture in the cycle, big boards are changing daily and new names are finding their way onto the radar at a good clip. One of those new names is Klein Forest running back Parker Jenkins.
