Kaluma feasted in the middle of a Syracuse zone, facilitating and scoring from the elbow and the foul line. Tre Johnson got his to an extent, scoring eight points on 3-of-7 shooting. Texas shot a strong 61 percent from the field and won the rebounding battle 17-13 in the first half.
