The event, which is the most important job interview a football player can go through, involves interviews with teams, medical testing, and on-field drills that are designed to give the 32 franchises as much data, good or bad, as possible before they select one of the 300+ invitees to be a part of their football team.

The Longhorns sent five this year, including a good amount of star power, after sending kicker Cameron Dicker and cornerback/special-teamer Josh Thompson to the 2022 event. Plenty of buzz surrounds the Longhorn prospects, who all are in contention to be selected in the seven-round process.

Drills for potential draftees begins Thursday at Lucas Oil Stadium at 1 p.m. CST. The defensive linemen and linebackers have March 2 all to themselves. Defensive backs work out on Friday. Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends have center stage on Saturday. Offensive linemen and running backs are last and get to go on Sunday.

Texas will therefore have three competing and showing their capabilities on Thursday with Ojomo, Overshown, and Coburn. Inside Texas will provide live updates and up-to-the-minute measurements by Longhorn participants below.

Overshown on hybrid LBs, quote provided by Cole Thompson: “They’re really looking for guys like that, because it’s really hard to find big guys that can move in space and still run. I feel like the game is definitely changing and you’ll see a lot of linebackers like that in the near future.”
