The game kicks off a 2:30 p.m. and will be televised on FS1.
Fourth Quarter
Texas moves down the field thanks to Brooks and Whittington, getting inside the Kansas five yard line. Brooks scores from three yards out. 48-7 Texas 11:36
Daniels completes a 55-yard pass to flip the field and put Kansas deep in the Texas red zone. He then completes a pass to Luke Grimm for another Jayhawk touchdown. 48-14 Texas 10:33
Hudson Card in at quarterback for Texas behind an O-line of Neto Umeozulu – Malik Agbo – Logan Parr – DJ Campbell – Cam Williams. On third down, Brooks breaks free for 70 yards and a score. 55-14 Texas 9:09
Jason Bean replaces Daniels at quarterback. The Jayhawks pick up a first down but the drive stalls out.
Jaydon Blue begins to get some carries and helps move the sticks for the Longhorns and continue to burn clock. A quick pass from Card to Red sets up a fourth down, but Blue can’t get the line to gain.
Kansas runs out the clock and the Longhorns win.
Third quarter
The Longhorn defense opens the second half with a three-and-out. Robinson then runs free for 26 yards on two plays to move into KU territory. Robinson rushes for 32 yards for a score. 38-0 Texas 11:03
The Jayhawks get one first down, but are stuffed on 4th-and-short to turn the ball over on downs.
Thanks to Robinson, Texas grabs a first down on a 4th down conversion. The drive stalls before too long and Auburn comes on for a field goal. His 40-yard attempt is good. 41-0 Texas 5:16
Kansas gains a few yards before Daniels finds Lawrence Arnold for a 42-yard gain to move into Texas territory. A 14-yard pass from Daniels to Torry Locklin gets the Jayhawks on the board. 41-7 Texas 1:55
Jonathon Brooks gets his first carry of the game and gains 14 yards to start the drive. Longhorns get 15 more on a facemask. Texas faces a fourth down opportunity and converts with a Brooks run as the quarter ends
Second Quarter
Johnson runs off the field gingerly on second down. On 4th down, Kansas jumps offsides and the yardage is enough for a first. After a penalty takes Texas back outside of the 10 on first and goal, Texas can’t get into the end zone. Auburn hits a field goal to make it 17-0 Texas 12:18
The first play from scrimmage results in a Daniels incompletion but Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey’s high hit results in his ejection from the game. The continues when Daniels finds Quentin Skinner for a first down. A pass to Mason Fairchild then moves KU to the Texas 21. On 4th and 1, a penalty undoes a touchdown pass. A 35-yard field goal is no good.
Texas moves down the field with a deep pass to Whittington then a pass interference penalty. Robinson then runs for 31 yards to make it 1st-and-goal. On 3rd-and-goal, a screen pass to Keilan Robinson finds the end zone. 24-0 Texas 4:56
Kansas moves the ball into Texas territory but Daniels tries to throw across his body on a rollout and Jaylan Ford intercepts it with 2:08 left.
Ewers and Bijan Robinson move into Kansas territory on the ground. Texas then gets into a 4th and 2, and converts after a timeout. From 25 yards out, Bijan Robinson rushes 24 yards to put Texas on the one. Byron Murphy and Keondre Coburn block for Robinson, who finds the end zone. 31-0 Texas 0:00

First Quarter
Jake Majors, Keondre Coburn, Anthony Cook, and Ja’Tavion Sanders are the captains. They call tails. It is tails. Texas will receive.
Texas gets a first down on its first series but that’s as far as they’ll get. Daniel Trejo’s punt is a short one and Kansas starts on its own 32.
Jalon Daniels starts for the Jayhawks. Despite a dropped pick-six by Jahdae Barron, Kansas can’t move the sticks. Texas starts on its own 32.
Texas picks up a few first downs via Bijan Robinson and Keilan Robinson, and a short pass to Jordan Whittington. Roschon Johnson gets into the action and brings Texas to 1st and goal at the seven. A few plays later, Bijan Robinson rushes it in. 7-0 Texas 7:50
Kansas gains 7 yards but a third-down pass falls incomplete and KU has to punt again. Xavier Worthy returns the ball for a net punt of 14 yards.
Robinson gains 11 yards then rushes for 17 yards and the score. 14-0 Texas 5:33
Kansas gains two first downs and gets into Texas territory with a Daniels completion and Devin Neal rush. Kansas gets to 4th-and-2, but a pass completion is short of the line to gain thanks to Jerrin Thompson.
Texas starts on its own 44. Facing third down, Ewers finds Worthy for a 24 yard gain to move deep into Jayhawk territory.
Pregame
D’Shawn Jamison made the trip to Kansas. Jerrin Thompson and Keilan Robinson are warming up without shirts on in Lawrence.
Only three quarterbacks made the trip: Quinn Ewers, Hudson Card, and Maalik Murphy. Charles Wright did not make the trip due to an illness, per an Inside Texas source.
It does not appear as if Jahleel Billingsley made the trip.
On the Kansas Memorial Stadium jumbotron during pregame warmups, Jason Bean is announced as the starter for Kansas at quarterback.
