The 6-foot scoring guard will report to Austin in late May with 2,562 career points scored, 420 made three-pointers at 38.8% and a 88.1% career free throw percentage.
The Dallas Jesuit product started all 123 games in four seasons at Oral Roberts. Abmas scored in double figures in 111 of the 123 games, including 67 games of 20 or more points. He also scored 30 or more points 18 times, including a pair of 40+ point games during the 2020-21 season. His career-high is 42 points.
Abmas pulled down five or more rebounds 29 times in the 123 games, and recorded five or more assists 26 times. His career-high in rebounds and assists is 11. He’s dished out 10 or more assists three times.
One of the most prolific three-point shooters in NCAA history. Only 15 players have made more, with the understanding that the fifth and sixth years have skewed the career numbers. With that said, Abmas is good bet to be No. 2 on the all-time list with a 30+ game final season in 2023-24.
