Longhorns in the NFL for final week of regular Season

Thirty-five players who played at the University of Texas were on NFL rosters of 22 of the league’s 32 teams for final week of the regular season. Here’s a breakdown of how they fared over the week and for the season, with some highlights of performances and updates.

Below are a list of the players listed alphabetically by teams: 

Arizona

Geoff Swaim, TE

Swaim was placed on injured reserve before week 16 with a calf injury that will force him to miss the rest of the season. He finished the season playing in 14 games for the Cardinals this year, catching 10 passes for 94 yards.

Atlanta

Ta’Quon Graham, DT

Graham had two combined tackles in the Falcons’ 48-17 loss at New Orleans on Sunday. He finished the season with 23 combined tackles, four solo stops, a sack and a forced fumble for the season in 15 games for Atlanta.

Bijan Robinson, RB

Robinson ran 11 times for 28 yards and caught seven passes for a career-high 103 yards that included a 71-yard TD in Atlanta’s loss. He finished his rookie year with 976 yards rushing and four TDs and 58 catches for 487 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games this season.

Baltimore

Devin Duvernay, WR

Duvernay was placed on injured reserve with a back injury suffered last week in the Ravens’ win at home over Los Angeles on Dec. 10. Duvernay played in 13 games for Baltimore this year, amassing four catches for a total of 18 yards and four carries for 15 yards. He is expected back for the playoffs and gets an extra week to rehab because Baltimore has a first round bye.

Justin Tucker, PK

Tucker nailed his only field goal attempt, a 36-yarder, in the Ravens’ 17-10 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday. He also canned his only PAT kick and had a touchback for Baltimore. He is 32 of 37 on FGs this season.

Buffalo

Poona Ford, DT

Ford was active but did not play in the Bills’ 21-14 win at Miami on Sunday night. He has played in seven games this year and has nine combined tackles, two solo stops and a sack for Buffalo..

Carolina

D’Shawn Jamison, CB

Jamison was active but did not play in Panthers’ 9-0 loss at home to Tampa Bay on Sunday. He finished his rookie year with 10 combined tackles, six solo stops and a pass breakup in 14 games.

Chicago

D’Onta Foreman, RB

Foreman was inactive for the Bears’ 17-9 loss at Green Bay on Sunday. He finished the season with 109 totes for 425 yards and four TDs this season and added 11 catches for 77 yards and another score in nine games.

Collin Johnson, WR

Johnson was activated from Bears’ practice squad before week 17 and remained active and played but had no stats in Chicago’s loss on Sunday. He finished the year with one catch for 11 yards.

Roschon Johnson, RB

Johnson carried five times for 20 yards in Chicago’s loss. He racked up 352 yards and two touchdowns on 81 carries and caught 34 passes for 209 yards in 15 games in his rookie season.

Cincinnati

Joseph Ossai, DE

Ossai had his best statistical game of the year for the Bengals in their 31-14 win over Cleveland on Sunday, producing three combined tackles, a solo stop and a pass breakup. He racked up 10 combined stops, five solo tackles, a sack and a pass breakup in 14 games this year.

Cleveland

Marquise Goodwin, WR

Goodwin was inactive for the Browns’ 31-14 loss at Cincinnati on Sunday. He had four catches for 67 yards and ran the ball four times for 33 yards while playing in 11 games for Cleveland this year.

Dallas

Malik Jefferson, LB

Jefferson remains on the Cowboys’ practice squad. He has three combined tackles and two solo stops in his three games this season.

Denver

Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR

Humphrey played but had no stats for the Broncos’ in their 27-14 loss at Las Vegas on Sunday. He finished the season with 13 catches for 162 yards and three TDs in 17 games for Denver.

P.J. Locke, S

Locke had four combined tackles and a pair of solo stops in the Broncos’ loss. He had 53 combined tackles, 32 solo stops, three sacks, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and an interception for Denver in 12 games this year, his best season as a professional.

Houston

Andrew Beck, TE

Beck caught two passes for nine yards and a TD for the Texans’ in their 23-19 win at Indianapolis on Saturday. He has five carries for three yards this year, 11 catches for 55 yards and two touchdowns and an unlikely kickoff return for a score in 15 games on the season.

Kris Boyd, CB

Boyd was active but did not play for the Texans in their win on Saturday. Boyd was signed by Houston in late-October after being released earlier this year by Arizona. He played in four games with two combined tackles and a solo stop while with the Cardinals.

Hassan Ridgeway, DT

Ridgeway suffered a torn Achilles in the Texans’ win over Tampa Bay in week 9. He missed the rest of the season after producing six assisted tackles and a solo stop in the three games he played in this year.

Indianapolis

Sam Ehlinger, QB

Ehlinger was active but did not play in the Colts’ 23-19 loss at home to Houston on Saturday. He did not see the field this season.

Kansas City

Keaontay Ingram, RB

Ingram is on the Chiefs’ practice squad. He amassed 74 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries and 26 yards receiving via four catches in eight games with Arizona this season before being signed by Kansas City.

Charles Omenihu, DE

Omenihu had two combined tackles, two solo stops, a sack and a forced fumble for the Chiefs in their 13-12 win at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. He has 28 combined tackles, 16 solo stops, seven sacks, two pass breakups and a pair of forced fumbles in 11 games this year.

Los Angeles Chargers

Cameron Dicker, PK

Dicker accounted for all of the Chargers’ points while making all four of his field goal attempts, including a 46-yarder, in Los Angeles’ 13-12 loss at home to Kansas City. He also produced three touchbacks for the Chargers. Dicker finished the season 31 of 33 on his field goals his season.

Miami

DeShon Elliott, S

Elliott had 10 combined tackles, six solo stops, a pass breakup and an interception for the Dolphins in their 21-14 loss at home to Buffalo on Sunday night. He has 82 combined tackles, 46 solo stops, seven passes defended, an interception and a fumble recovery in 15 games this year.

Brandon Jones, S

Jones had eight combined tackles and six solo stops for the Dolphins in their loss. He has 48 combined tackles, 35 solo stops, four passes defended, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and two interceptions while playing in 16 games this season.

Connor Williams, C

Williams was placed on season-ending IR in week 14 after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in a Dec. 12 loss to Tennessee. He played and started at center in nine games this season.

Minnesota

Jordan Hicks, LB

Hicks recorded seven combined tackles and three solo stops in the Vikings’ 30-20 loss at Detroit on Sunday. He produced 107 combined tackles, 43 solo stops, a sack, five passes defended, one interception, two recovered fumbles and forced a fumble in 13 games this year. 

New England

Calvin Anderson, T

Anderson is on injured reserve. He played in six games and started at right tackle in the first two games of the season and was inactive for two games before being places on the injury list.

Adrian Phillips, S

Phillips was active but did not play in the Patriots’ 17-3 loss at home to the New York Jets on Sunday. He recorded 17 combined tackles and nine solo stops while playing in nine of New England’s games this season.

Brenden Schooler, S

Schooler had a combined tackle and a solo stop in New England’s loss. He played in all 17 games and had 13 combined stops, 11 solo tackles, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal this season.

New Orleans

Malcolm Roach, DT

Roach was placed on injured reserve after suffering knee injury in the Saints’ week 13 loss at home to Atlanta. He played in 12 games this season, amassing 38 combined tackles, 10 solo stops and three passes defended. 

Philadelphia

Moro Ojomo, DT

Ojomo had two combined tackles in the Eagles’ 27-10 loss at the New York Giants on Sunday. He has three combined tackles and solo stop in eight games this season.

Seattle

Michael Dickson, P

Dickson punted five times for an average of 51.6 yards and ripped a 62-yarder in the Seahawks’ 21-20 win at Arizona on Sunday. He finished the season with career-best average of 50 yards per kick on 66 punts and had a 71-yarder in week 1 against the Rams.

Quandre Diggs, S

Diggs had six combined tackles and four solo stops in Seattle’s win. He amassed 96 combined tackles, 56 solo stops, five pass breakups and an interception in 17 games for the Seahawks this season.

Tennessee

Keondre Coburn, DT

Coburn had a combined tackle for the Titans in their 28-20 win at home over Jacksonville on Sunday. He had nine combined tackles and two solo stops while playing in five games this season.

Washington

Samuel Cosmi, G

Cosmi started for the 17th straight game for the Commanders in their 38-10 loss at home to Dallas on Sunday. He helped the Washington offense produce 180 yards.
