Longhorns in the NFL for Week 16

Thirty-five players who played at the University of Texas were on NFL rosters of 22 of the league’s 32 teams for Week 16 of the season. Here’s a breakdown of how they fared over the week, with some highlights of performances and updates.

Below are a list of the players listed alphabetically by teams: 

Arizona

Geoff Swaim, TE

Swaim was placed in injured reserve last week with a calf injury that will force him to miss the rest of the season. He had been active for all 14 games for the Cardinals this year, catching 10 passes for 94 yards.

Atlanta

Ta’Quon Graham, DT

Graham was active but did not play for the Falcons in their 29-10 win at home over Indianapolis on Sunday. He has 17 combined tackles, four solo stops, a sack and a forced fumble for the season in 12 games for Atlanta.

Bijan Robinson, RB

Robinson ran 12 times for 72 yards and caught seven passes for 50 yards in Atlanta’s win. Robinson has 873 yards rushing and four TDs and 48 catches for 373 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games this season.

Baltimore

Devin Duvernay, WR

Duvernay was placed on injured reserve with a back injury suffered last week in the Ravens’ win at home over Los Angeles on Dec. 10. Duvernay has played in 13 games for Baltimore this year, amassing four catches for a total of 18 yards and four carries for 15 yards. He is expected back for the playoffs.

Justin Tucker, PK

Tucker made all four of his field goal attempts, with the longest a 41-yarder, all three of his PAT kicks and had five touchbacks for Baltimore in its 33-19 win at San Francisco on Monday night. He is 31 of 36 on FGs this season.

Buffalo

Poona Ford, DT

Ford had two combined tackles, a solo stop and a sack for the Bills their 24-22 win at the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. He has played in six games this year and has nine combined tackles, two solo stops and a sack for Buffalo.

Carolina

D’Shawn Jamison, CB

Jamison was active but did not play for the Panthers in their 33-20 loss at home to Green Bay on Sunday. He has eight combined tackles, four solo stops and a pass breakup in 11 games this season.

Chicago

D’Onta Foreman, RB

Foreman was inactive for the Bears’ 27-16 win over Arizona on Sunday. He’s carried 109 times for 425 yards and four TDs this season and added 11 catches for 77 yards and another score in nine games.

Collin Johnson, WR

Johnson is on the Bears’ practice squad. He has not played in a game since 2021 when he was with the New York Giants.

Roschon Johnson, RB

Johnson carried nine times for 37 yards and caught three passes for 16 yards in Chicago’s win. He has racked up 311 yards and a touchdown on 69 carries and caught 31 passes for 171 yards in 13 games in his rookie season.

Cincinnati

Joseph Ossai, DE

Ossai was active but did not play for the Bengals in their 34-11 loss at Pittsburgh on Saturday. He’s racked up seven combined stops, four solo tackles and a sack in 11 games this year.

Cleveland

Marquise Goodwin, WR

Goodwin played but had no stats in the Browns’ 36-22 win over Houston on Saturday. He has four catches for 67 yards and has run the ball four times for 33 yards while playing in 11 games for Cleveland this year.

Dallas

Malik Jefferson, LB

Jefferson remains on the Cowboys’ practice squad. He has three combined tackles and two solo stops in his three games this season.

Denver

Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR

Humphrey was active but did not play in the Broncos’ 26-23 loss at home to New England on Sunday night. He has 11 catches for 93 yards and two TDs in 14 games for Denver this season.

P.J. Locke, S

Locke had nine combined tackles and five solo stops in the Broncos’ loss. He has 43 combined tackles, 25 solo stops, three sacks, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and an interception for Denver in 10 games this year.

Houston

Andrew Beck, TE

Beck caught two passes for six yards and a touchdown in the Texans’ 36-22 loss at home to Cleveland on Sunday. He has five carries for three yards this year, nine catches for 46 yards and TD and an unlikely kickoff return for a touchdown in 13 games on the season.

Kris Boyd, CB

Boyd was active but did not play for the Texans in their loss on Sunday. Boyd was signed by Houston in late-October after being released earlier this year by Arizona. He played in four games with two combined tackles and a solo stop while with the Cardinals.

Hassan Ridgeway, DT

Ridgeway suffered a torn Achilles in the Texans’ win over Tampa Bay in week 9. He will be out for the rest of the season after producing six assisted tackles and a solo stop in the three games he played in this year.

Indianapolis

Sam Ehlinger, QB

Ehlinger was active but did not play in the Colts’ 29-10 loss at Atlanta on Sunday. He has not seen the field in the first 16 weeks of the season.

Kansas City

Keaontay Ingram, RB

Ingram is on the Chiefs’ practice squad.  He amassed 74 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries and 26 yards receiving via four catches in eight games with Arizona this season before being signed by Kansas City.

Charles Omenihu, DE

Omenihu had a combined tackle, a solo stop, and a sack in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss at home to Las Vegas on Sunday. He has 21 combined tackles, 11 solo stops, 4.5 sacks, and a pass breakup in nine games this year.

Los Angeles Chargers

Cameron Dicker, PK

Dicker made all five of his field goal attempts, including a 53-yarder in the final minutes, his only PAT kick and produced six touchbacks for the Chargers in their 24-22 loss at home to Buffalo on Saturday night. Dicker is 24 of 25 on his field goals his season.

Miami

DeShon Elliott, S

Elliott had two combined tackles and two solo stops for the Dolphins in their 22-20 home win over Dallas on Sunday. He has 62 combined tackles, 34 solo stops, six passes defended and a fumble recovery in 32 games this year.

Brandon Jones, S

Jones had another huge game for Miami, racking up nine combined tackles, seven solo stops and recovering a fumble in the Dolphins’ win. He has 40 combined tackles, 29 solo stops, four passes defended, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and two interceptions while playing in 14 games this season.

Connor Williams, C

Williams was placed on season-ending IR in week 14 after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in a Dec. 12 loss to Tennessee. Williams, who will become a free agent in March, suffered the injury on the Dolphins’ first offensive series. He played and started at center in nine games this season.

Minnesota

Jordan Hicks, LB

Hicks returned with a vengeance from a four-week stint on the IR, recording nine combined tackles, five solo stops and breaking up a pass in the Vikings’ 30-24 loss at Detroit on Saturday. He’s produced 96 combined tackles, 39 solo stops, a sack, five passes defended, one interception, two recovered fumbles and forced a fumble in 11 games this year. 

New England

Calvin Anderson, T

Anderson is on injured reserve. He played in six games and started at right tackle in the first two games of the season and was inactive for two games before being places on the injury list.

Adrian Phillips, S

Phillips was active but did not play in the Patriots’ 26-23 win at Denver on Sunday. He has recorded 17 combined tackles and nine solo stops while playing in nine of New England’s games this season.

Brenden Schooler, S

Schooler recovered a fumble by his own team in New England’s win. He’s played in 14 games and has 12 combined stops, 10 solo tackles, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal this season.

New Orleans

Malcolm Roach, DT

Roach was placed on injured reserve last week after suffering a knee injury in the Saints’ week 13 loss at home to Atlanta. He’s played in 12 games this season, amassing 38 combined tackles, 10 solo stops and three passes defended. 

Philadelphia

Moro Ojomo, DT

Ojomo was active but did not play for the Eagles in their 33-25 win at home over the New York Giants on Monday. He has not seen the field this season.

Seattle

Michael Dickson, P

Dickson punted three times for an average of 44.7 yards and ripped a 63-yarder in the Seahawks’ 20-17 win at Tennessee on Sunday. He has an average of 49.8 yards per kick on 58 punts this season and had a 71-yarder in week 1 against the Rams.

Quandre Diggs, S

Diggs had five combined tackles, a solo stop and a pass breakup in Seattle’s win. He has amassed 85 combined tackles, 52 solo stops, four pass breakups and an interception in 15 games for the Seahawks this season.

Tennessee

Keondre Coburn, DT

Coburn had a combined tackle for the Titans in their 20-17 loss at home to Seattle on Sunday. He has three combined tackles while playing in three games this season.

Washington

Samuel Cosmi, G

Cosmi started for the 15th straight game for the Commanders in their 30-28 loss at the New York Jets on Sunday. He helped the Washington offense produce 245 yards.
