Longhorns in the NFL for Week 7

Thirty-two players who played at the University of Texas were on NFL rosters of 21 of the league’s 32 teams for Week 7 of the season. Here’s a breakdown of how they fared over the week, with some highlights of performances and updates.

Below are a list of the players listed alphabetically by teams: 

Arizona

Keaontay Ingram, RB

Ingram was active but did not play in the Cardinals’ 20-10 loss at Seattle on Sunday. He has played in four games this year for Arizona and has amassed 55 yards in 22 carries and 19 yards receiving.

Geoff Swaim, TE

Swaim caught a pass for eight yards in Arizona’s loss. He has been active for all seven games this year, catching three passes for 19 yards.

Atlanta

Ta’Quon Graham, DT

Graham recorded two combined tackles for the Falcons in their 16-13 win at Tampa Bay on Sunday. He has six total tackles for the season in five games for Atlanta.

Bijan Robinson, RB

Robinson was held out for most of Atlanta’s win, finally carrying once for three yards in the Falcons’ game-winning drive. Robinson has 404 yards rushing and 26 catches for 189 yards and two touchdowns in seven games this season.

Baltimore

Devin Duvernay, WR

Duvernay played but recorded no stats in the Ravens’ 38-6 home win over Detroit on Sunday. Duvernay has played in all seven games for Baltimore this year, amassing two catches for a total of eight yards and three carries for 15 yards.

Justin Tucker, PK

Tucker converted his only field goal attempt, from 32 yards, and was successful in all five of his PAT kicks in the Ravens’ win. He produced five touchbacks. He is 12 of 14 on FGs this season.

Buffalo

Poona Ford, DT

Ford had his best game of the season in the Bills’ 29-25 loss at New England on Sunday, recording four combined tackles and one solo stop. He’s played in four games for Buffalo and had five combined stops and a solo tackle. 

Carolina

D’Shawn Jamison, CB

Jamison enjoyed the bye week with his Panthers’ teammates on Sunday. He has five combined tackles, one solo stop and a pass breakup in six games this season.

Chicago

D’Onta Foreman, RB

Foreman had his best game of the season in the Bears’ 30-12 win at home over Las Vegas on Sunday. He carried 16 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 31 yards and another score. Foreman has now racked up 36 totes for 170 yards and two TDs and hauled in six catches for 41 yards and a score this season

Roschon Johnson, RB

Johnson was inactive for Chicago’s win over the Raiders. He had played in five games this season and has produced 122 yards and a score on 25 carries and hauled in 11 passes for 58 yards.

Cincinnati

Joseph Ossai, DE

Ossai and the Bengals had their bye week on Sunday. He missed the first two games with an ankle injury and had played in the past four contests for Cincinnati, amassing three combined stops and a solo tackle.

Cleveland

Marquise Goodwin, WR

Goodwin had a catch for six yards and ran once for 17 yards in the Browns’ 39-38 loss at Indianapolis on Sunday. He has three catches for 10 yards and has run the ball three times for a 38 yards while playing in all six games for Cleveland this year.

Dallas

Malik Jefferson, LB

Jefferson and the Cowboys’ had a bye this week. He has two combined tackles and solo stop in his two games this season.

Denver

Keondre Coburn, DT

Coburn was cut by Kansas City last week and subsequently signed by the Broncos and placed on their practice roster. He was inactive for Denver’s win Sunday and has one combined tackle for the season.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR

Humphrey was added back to the Broncos’ active roster last week after a stint on the practice roster but did not record any stats in Denver’s 19-17 win at home over Green Bay. He has four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown this season while playing in four games and starting three times.

P.J. Locke, S

Locke had his best game of the season in the Broncos’ win, amassing three combined tackles, a solo stop, a pass defended and nabbing an interception that he returned for 14 yards. All were his first statistics of the year after he missed the first four weeks of the 2023 season with a leg injury.

Houston

Andrew Beck, TE

Beck and the rest of the Texans had their bye on Sunday. He has two catches for two yards and an unlikely kickoff return for a TD on the season.

Hassan Ridgeway, DT

Ridgeway was placed on IR with a calf injury in week 2 after he had two assisted tackles in Houston’s loss to the Ravens in week 1. He has missed the past four games.

Indianapolis

Sam Ehlinger, QB

Ehlinger was active for the second time this season for the Colts in their 39-38 win at home over Cleveland on Sunday. He has not seen the field in the first seven weeks of the season.

Kansas City

Charles Omenihu, DE

Omenihu was activated from the suspended list and had an immediate impact for the Chiefs, recording two combined tackles, two solo stops, a pass defended and a sack in Kansas City’s 31-17 win over the Chargers.

Los Angeles Chargers

Cameron Dicker, PK

Dicker hit on his only field goal attempt, a 55-yarder, and made both his PAT kicks and produced four touchbacks in Los Angeles’ 31-17 loss at Kansas City on Sunday. He is 8 for 9 on field goals this season and has converted all 16 of his extra-point kicks.

Miami

DeShon Elliott, S

Elliott had four combined tackles and two solo stops for the Dolphins in their 31-17 loss at Philadelphia on Sunday night. He has 37 combined tackles, 21 solo stops, three passes defended and a fumble recovery in six games this year.

Brandon Jones, S

Jones was active but did not record any stats in Miami’s loss. He has six combined tackles and four solo stops while playing in six games this season.

Connor Williams, C

Williams was inactive in the Dolphins’ loss, missing his second game of the season.

Minnesota

Jordan Hicks, LB

Hicks had eight tackles, four of them solo, and a pass defended in the Vikings’ 22-17 win over San Francisco.

New England

Calvin Anderson, T

Anderson was active but did not play for the Patriots’ 29-25 win over Buffalo on Sunday.

Adrian Phillips, S

Phillips had one combined tackle in the win over the Bills. He has recorded 15 combined tackles and eight solo stops while playing in all seven of the Patriots’ games this season.

Brenden Schooler, S

Schooler recorded two combined tackles and two solo stops and recovered a fumble in the Patriots’ victory on Sunday. He’s played in all seven games for New England and has six combined stops, five solo tackles, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal.

New Orleans

Malcolm Roach, DT

Roach had four combined tackles and three solo stops in the Saints’ 31-24 loss at home to Jacksonville on Thursday. He’s played in seven games this season, amassing 19 combined tackles and five solo stops and a pass defended.

Philadelphia

Moro Ojomo, DT

Ojomo was inactive for the Eagles’ 31-17 win over Miami on Sunday night. He has not seen the field this season.

Seattle

Michael Dickson, P

Dickson punted three times for an average of 47.7 yards per kick in the Seahawks’ 20-10 win at home over Arizona on Sunday. He has punted 19 times for a 50.2-yard average that included a 73 yarder against the Rams in week 1.

Quandre Diggs, S

Diggs racked up three combined tackles, three solo stops and a pass defended in Seattle’s win. He has amassed 25 combined tackles, 17 solo stops, two passes defended, an interception and a 21-yard return in six games this year.

Washington

Samuel Cosmi, G

Cosmi started for the seventh straight week and helped the Commanders’ offense gain 273 yards in their 14-7 loss at the New York Giants on Sunday.
