Longhorns in the NFL for Week 9

Thirty-two players who played at the University of Texas were on NFL rosters of 21 of the league’s 32 teams for Week 9 of the season. Here’s a breakdown of how they fared over the week, with some highlights of performances and updates.

Below are a list of the players listed alphabetically by teams: 

Arizona

Keaontay Ingram, RB

Ingram carried nine times for eight yards in the Cardinals’ 27-0 loss at Cleveland on Sunday. He has played in seven games this year for Arizona and has amassed 72 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries and 26 yards receiving via four catches.

Geoff Swaim, TE

Swaim was active but did not play in Arizona’s loss. He has been active for seven games this year, catching three passes for 30 yards.

Atlanta

Ta’Quon Graham, DT

Graham recorded a combined tackle and a solo stop for the Falcons in their 31-28 loss at home versus Minnesota on Sunday. He has nine combined tackles and solo stop for the season in seven games for Atlanta.

Bijan Robinson, RB

Robinson produced 51 yards on 11 carries and caught two passes for eight yards in the Falcons’ loss. Robinson has 517 yards rushing and a TD and 28 catches for 197 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season.

Baltimore

Devin Duvernay, WR

Duvernay caught two passes for 10 yards in the Ravens 37-3 home win over Seattle on Sunday. Duvernay has played in all nine games for Baltimore this year, amassing four catches for a total of 18 yards and three carries for 15 yards.

Justin Tucker, PK

Tucker went three for three on his field goal attempts against Arizona, hitting from 37, 45 and yards, and was successful in all four of his PAT kicks in the Ravens’ win. He produced five touchbacks. He is 16 of 19 on FGs this season.

Buffalo

Poona Ford, DT

Ford was inactive for the Bills’ 24-18 loss at Cincinnati on Sunday night. He’s played in five games for Buffalo and had seven combined stops and a solo tackle. 

Carolina

D’Shawn Jamison, CB

Jamison was active but recorded no statistics in the Panthers’ 27-13 loss at Indianapolis on Sunday. He has five combined tackles, one solo stop and a pass breakup in four games this season.

Chicago

D’Onta Foreman, RB

Foreman carried 20 times for 83 yards in the Bears’ 24-17 loss at New Orleans on Sunday. Foreman has now racked up 65 totes for 287 yards and two TDs and hauled in seven catches for 43 yards and a score in five games this season.

Roschon Johnson, RB

Johnson carried twice for six yards and caught a pass for nine yards in Chicago’s loss. He had played in seven games this season and has produced 149 yards and a score on 36 carries and hauled in 15 passes for 77 yards.

Cincinnati

Joseph Ossai, DE

Ossai played but did not record any stats in Cincinnati’s 28-17 win at home over Buffalo on Sunday night. He’s racked up three combined stops and a solo tackle in six games this year.

Cleveland

Marquise Goodwin, WR

Goodwin played but did not record any statistics in the Browns’ 27-0 win over Arizona on Sunday. He has three catches for 10 yards and has run the ball four times for 33 yards while playing in all eight games for Cleveland this year.

Dallas

Malik Jefferson, LB

Jefferson remains on the Cowboys’ practice squad. He has three combined tackles and two solo stops in his three games this season.

Denver

Keondre Coburn, DT

Coburn enjoyed the bye week with his Denver teammates on Sunday. He has one combined tackle for the season when he played for Kansas City.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR

Humphrey also was off last week. He has four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown this season while playing in four games and starting three times.

P.J. Locke, S

Locke was able to take a break with his Broncos teammates. He has six combined tackles, four solo stops, a pass defended and an interception he returned for 14 yards in four games this season. 

Houston

Andrew Beck, TE

Beck caught two passes for eight yards in the Texans’ 39-37 home win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. He now has four carries for three combined yards this year, three catches for 13 yards and an unlikely kickoff return for a TD in eight games on the season.

Hassan Ridgeway, DT

Ridgeway had a combined tackle and a solo stop in the win over the Buccaneers before suffering a leg injury. He has six assisted tackles and a solo stop in the three games he’s played in this season.

Indianapolis

Sam Ehlinger, QB

Ehlinger was active for the Colts in their 27-13 win at Carolina on Sunday. He has not seen the field in the first nine weeks of the season.

Kansas City

Charles Omenihu, DE

Omenihu recorded two combined tackles in Kansas City’s 21-14 win over Miami in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday. He has nine combined tackles, four solo stops, a pass defended and 1.5 sacks in three games for the Chiefs this season.

Los Angeles Chargers

Cameron Dicker, PK

Dicker (the Kicker) was 2-for-2 on field goals with a long of 55 and 3-for-3 on extra point attempts in the Chargers’ 27-6 win on Monday night.

Miami

DeShon Elliott, S

Elliott had four combined tackles and three solo stops for the Dolphins in their 21-14 loss to Kansas City on Sunday in Frankfurt, Germany. He has 47 combined tackles, 24 solo stops, four passes defended and a fumble recovery in eight games this year.

Brandon Jones, S

Jones was inactive for the Dolphins’ loss on Sunday. He has 13 combined tackles, eight solo stops and a pass defended while playing in eight games this season.

Connor Williams, C

Williams started at center and helped the Dolphins gain 292 yards in their loss to Kansas City. He has played and started in five games this season.

Minnesota

Jordan Hicks, LB

Hicks racked up 11 combined tackles, seven solo stops, a sack and a pass defended in the Vikings’ 31-28 win at Atlanta. He has produced 80 combined tackles, 31 solo stops, a sack, four passes defended, one interception, two recovered fumbles and forced a fumble for Minnesota in nine games this year.

New England

Calvin Anderson, T

Anderson was inactive for the Patriots’ loss at home to Washington on Sunday.

Adrian Phillips, S

Phillips had two combined tackles in the Patriots’ loss. He has recorded 18 combined tackles and nine solo stops while playing in all nine of New England’s games this season.

Brenden Schooler, S

Schooler recorded three combined tackles and two solo stops in the Patriots’ loss on Sunday. He’s played in all nine games for New England and has 11 combined stops, 10 solo tackles, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal.

New Orleans

Malcolm Roach, DT

Roach had two combined tackles and a solo stop in the Saints’ 24-17 win at home over Chicago on Sunday. He’s played in nine games this season, amassing 24 combined tackles, six solo stops and a pass defended.

Philadelphia

Moro Ojomo, DT

Ojomo was inactive for the Eagles’ win over Dallas on Sunday. He has not seen the field this season.

Seattle

Michael Dickson, P

Dickson punted a season-high seven times for an average of 45.7 yards per kick in the Seahawks’ 37-3 loss at Baltimore on Sunday. He has punted 31 times for a 49.9-yard average this season that included a 73 yarder against the Rams in week 1.

Quandre Diggs, S

Diggs recorded six combined tackles and five solo stops in Seattle’s loss. He has amassed 40 combined tackles, 27 solo stops, two passes defended, an interception and a 21-yard return in eight games this year.

Washington

Samuel Cosmi, G

Cosmi started for the ninth straight week and helped the Commanders’ offense gain 432 yards in their 20-17 win in New England on Sunday.
