Longhorns ranked No. 7 in the latest AP poll

Texas remained the No. 7 team in the nation in the most recent AP Poll. While the Longhorns remained in the same position there was some movement at the top.

Ohio State jumped Michigan to take the No. 2 position while Washington hopped Florida State to take the No. 4 spot.

The Longhorns were ranked No. 7 in both the AP and Coaches Polls. Other Big 12 teams to make the AP top 25 included No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 19 Kansas State, and No. 21 Oklahoma State. In the receiving votes category were the Kansas Jayhawks.

The Alabama Crimson Tide, who Texas defeated 34-24 in Tuscaloosa in Week 2, were ranked No. 8.

Texas remained No. 7 in the Coaches Poll as well. Other Big 12 teams to make the top 25 of the Coaches Poll included No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 20 Kansas State, and No. 21 Oklahoma State. Kansas and West Virginia were in the receiving votes category.

The Longhorns are set to take on Texas Tech in the regular season finale this Saturday.
