The Longhorns’ roster is filled with talent, with players like Taylor Jones, Kyla Oldacre, and Rori Harmon, But one talent in particular stands out: Madison Booker.
Booker was just named SEC Player of the Year, as well as first-team All-SEC, after averaging 16 ppg, 6.5 rpg, and just under three apg. Last year as a freshman, Booker took on the role of point guard for the injured Harmon, and was named a second-team All-American. But with Harmon returning, Booker has been able to move to her true position as a forward, unleashing her true scoring potential.
Next to an elite passer like Harmon, who averages over six assists a game, Booker has taken her game to the next level, scoring double digits in all but six games she played in and hitting the 20 point mark in 11 contests. But Booker didn’t just score against lesser teams. She added 20 or more points in games against South Carolina, Notre Dame, Maryland, Tennessee, and Alabama.
