They look to join the 25 Longhorn football players and coaches who have earned selection into the College Football Hall of Fame.

In his career at Texas, Huff was an All-Big 12 football player and track athlete. In addition to the Thorpe Award, he was the defensive MVP of the 2006 Rose Bowl game that helped the Longhorns earn the 2005 national championship. He made the game-saving tackle on 4th and 2 late in the contest that gave the Longhorns the ball back for their game-winning drive.

Huff earned All-America status twice, including consensus first-team honors in 2005. He had 318 tackles, 26 TFL, seven interceptions, 44 PBU, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in his career.
