Night time kickoff for No. 1 Texas-No. 5 Georgia game announced
For No. 1 Texas’ (5-0) first big SEC battle, the Horns will host No. 5 Georgia (4-1) at 6:30 p.m. (CT) on ABC at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in two weeks, the SEC office announced on Monday.

Texas and Georgia have met a total of five times, with the Longhorns holding a 4-1 advantage. Georgia’s only visit to Austin was during the 1958 season.
Texas and Georgia last played in the Sugar Bowl on January 1st, 2019, with the Longhorns knocking off the Bulldogs, 28-21. It will be remembered as the day Bevo, UT’s mascot, took on Uga, the Georgia mascot.
