Texas and Florida are facing off for the fourth time total and first time since 1940, a 26-0 win by the Longhorns in Gainesville. The Horns lead the all-time series 2-0-1. The first ever matchup between the Horns and Gators took place in 1924 in Austin, resulting in a 7-7 tie. The Longhorns are coming off three consecutive games against top 25 opponents (Oklahoma, Georgia, Vanderbilt).
