DeMarvion Overshown: “All offseason, all spring, we had to watch film from last year. You could tell where we were a couple of inches or a couple of feet from making a play and changing the whole game.”
Overshown was asked if he saw Oklahoma fans leaving the game in the third: “I noticed. You still had a couple behind us still chirping.”
Anthony Cook: “We’re playing our brand of football.”
Quinn Ewers on when he heard he was named starter: “When (Steve Sarkisian) told me, what was going through my mind was ‘it’s time to go.'”
Ewers: “Finally playing in this game is really exciting for me. I always wanted to play in this one so it’s pretty special.”
Roschon Johnson: “It feels good to go out with a bang like that for this game, but we kind of knew what we planned to do. And I’m just glad we came out nice. We got the win. So it feels great.”

Johnson, on not being surprised by Ewers’ performance: “Really just his preparation. I mean, when you see him practice, you know the talent that he has. We know that if we protect him up front and let him throw the ball, it’ll be something special. So that’s where that confidence comes from.”
Jahdae Barron on his interception: “I was just keeping my eyes on my key. That was my man. But I’m still fitting the run. So it was just just being smart and being aware.“
Barron: “It’s confidence. But it’s more about trust, we all trust one another. And just flying to the ball, as we keep doing. Once everybody gets to the ball, we’ll get them down like always.”
Ja’Tavion Sanders: “It’s great, it’s a great feeling honestly just knowing what happened last year. Coming back, just coming out here executing the game plan honestly, it’s a great feeling.”
